16th Annual MCH EPI Conference: Using Epidemiology to Improve Maternal and Child Health
Video, Audio, and Downloads from the Conference
Organizers of the 16th Annual Maternal and Child Health Epidemiology (MCH EPI) Conference are excited about continuing to offer MCH professionals a platform to share experiences, enhance knowledge, and generate new ideas for promoting and improving the health of women, children and families. The 16th Annual MCH EPI Conference brought together MCH professionals and public health practitioners from across the United States and North America. Hosted by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Health Services and Resources Administration/Maternal Child Health Bureau (HRSA/MCHB) and CityMatCH, this event offered sessions led by researchers, federal officials, advocates, health care providers and staff of state MCH programs. As always, it is our hope that this year's conference will help develop participants' analytic skills and knowledge base to promote program effectiveness.
During the conference, participants will recognize the importance of bridging epidemiologic methods and MCH practice for effective program development, delivery and evaluation. Conference discussions will focus on the application of epidemiologic methods to improve maternal and child health outcomes.
